Who sells Gitanic
Gitanic is sold by Manuel Arrabito. Payments and tax handling are processed through Paddle as merchant of record.
Data processed during checkout
- Purchase email address
- Transaction identifiers and product/price identifiers
- Billing and payment information processed by Paddle
- Temporary browser data used to return from checkout to the Gitanic app
Data processed for licensing
- License identifiers and activation identifiers
- Installation identifier generated by the app
- Device name and app version when sent by the app during activation, restore, refresh, or deactivation
- License status data used to keep paid access working offline for a limited time
Infrastructure and processors
Checkout and payment processing are handled by Paddle. Licensing data is stored and processed through Gitanic-controlled services hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure.
Why this data is used
- To process purchases and prove payment
- To restore licenses by purchase email
- To activate a purchased license on the current device
- To enforce activation limits and prevent abuse
- To provide support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain service integrity
Retention and security
Only the data needed to run the licensing flow, provide support, and maintain records is retained. Sensitive secrets and signing material are not published in the app or on the website. The app also stores limited local licensing state in the macOS Keychain on the customer's device.
